The boy and I got a Groupon deal a while ago for SFMOMA tickets, and we planned to go today to semi-celebrate our 1.5 years! (It’s nice that it landed on a Sunday!)
We stopped by the Bagel Shop before heading to San Francisco! It wasn’t surprising seeing a bunch of high school kids eating there.. even when it’s not a school day! Since they ran out of jalapeno cheese bagels, Chris ended up getting a croissant sandwich instead.
Afterwards, we went to San Francisco! We got to SFMOMA and started the search for street parking. I swear, driving and parking in San Francisco is the worst thing ever! We ended up just parking in a parking garage. $2.50 for every 20 minutes ain’t too bad, right?
The first thing that caught my eye when we got into the museum were these lights! They looked beautiful from the first floor, but when you get on the stairs to the second floor, you can see why these lights are interesting! Designed by Jim Campbell, this display contains 2,880 LED lights and custom electronics. Crazy! So many people were standing on the stairs taking pictures and admiring the shadows of people and cars the display showed.
